Michael and James are devoted patrons of the arts, with a particular love for live music. We are delighted to welcome intimate audiences of approximately 30 guests into our home for exceptional performances by outstanding musicians. Most concerts feature a pianist performing on our beautifully maintained Ibach grand piano. The Salon is located in the Crown Isle neighbourhood of Courtenay. Read more about us...
🙞 Relaxed & Intimate
At our intimate home concerts, guests are invited to relax fully and enjoy the music in a comfortable, welcoming setting. There is time to chat with the musicians before or after the performance, adding a personal touch to the experience. A light snack and beverage are included with your ticket, and guests are welcome to bring a bottle of wine. There is truly nothing like experiencing live music in a small, shared space. We hope it feels just like a private performance in your own home.
🙞 We Support Musicians
Giving musicians an audience and fair pay is a direct way to sustain the arts and strengthen our community. We do not profit from hosting these concerts. All but $3 of each ticket goes directly to the musicians. The remaining $3 covers our costs... food and refreshments, website hosting, printed programs, and tuning and maintenance of the piano.
